Retail THERAPY!!!
There's really nothing like retail therapy. I thought that all the new kits that I bought last weekend, (you know, the ones I have barely unzipped, let alone SCRAPPED WITH).... were therapy.
Well, the twins and their Mum and I went to "Marion" which in Adelaide is THE place to go when you're on a spree. *TMUM* had an errand to a bridal registry and then we were free to wander and play... I was seriously looking for some Bling cos I have hardly any, but didn't find anything that was just right, although I want to go back to Diva and have another look at their lockets... I'm so stoked that they have come back into fashion!! And of course, we had to do a quick drive through of TARGET, as we don't have one locally and you get sick of K-mart after a while....
I've been after one of these babies for a while, and I love the colour... it's called almond and it looks very snazzy in my black and white kitchen...
However I got introduced to Temt which I have heard of, seen, but never ventured into before. I don't know if this is their usual prices, but WOW.... I was soooo blown away. Lots of fun FUnKY stuff and very cheap...
So the colour for this one came out ALL wrong, it's not an icky dusky blue, it's a seriously funky bright tealy colour. Neway.... (muttering about stupid cameras....)'
Although it did get hard to concentrate on the shops as Maddy and Charli took it in turns to grizzle and cry and SQUEAL..... we'd just get one settled and the other one would have a go. Nothing a good stiff cappucino couldn't fix though.
It was just so great to get OUT and kick back and be relaxed again. I've got soooo many things going on in the background, and I'm not sleeping very well, so I just feel overwhelmed still...
On another note, I've stood down from Fernlilis creative team for a while, just until I get back into the groove again. I still love her work, and hope that I can come back with a vengance when stuff dies down. She's been great about it, and I feel very *loved*....
So, that's about it for now.... I would hope that next post I'll have actually FINISHED a layout... at the moment I have a couple on the go but I never seem to be happy with them.... I don't know if it's just me, or if my mojo is out of whack... the ideas are there, but the execution, ummm, is "lacking".....
Anyway, blog to you later peeps!!

Nothing like retail therapy ... I have one of those gorgeous strainers in yellow, mainly because it is Michael's favourite colour and it suits MY kitchen, lol! :)
