Lazy post today....
Man, I am still tired after yesterday. I stayed up too late reading "The Scarlet Pimpernel" given to me by dear *K* who is a huge fan of the series. I can't believe that I've never read it before, I read Jane Eyre in Primary School, so how this one slipped through the cracks I'll never know. I am a huge Georgette Heyer fan (Historical Romances with well drawn characters) I also love Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, and for a bit of variety, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Dick Francis and Alistair MacLean! Nothing like a change of reading scenery.
I think I'm computer burnt out at the moment. I spent ages this morning listing more stuff on eBay, and now have caught up on my blogs and *shock* am not in the mood for any scrapping. I am knitting myself a poncho instead!! It might not be ready until next winter, but it's a project! I bought some really cheap funky wool today and yesterday, and some new CHUNKY needles. All I have to do now is make 2 e-nor-mous rectangles and stitch them together.... yeah, sure!
So here's an oldy but a goody photo wise.... When I'm not in love with irises, I'm in love with Arums. Pity they are white and the camera HATES focussing on them. My arum's flower for a good part of the year, outside my kitchen window where I can see them as I am making sandwiches or peeling potatoes. They make me SMILE! and that's the most important bit! Hope they make you smile today too.
